Macedonia is located in southern Melbourne, FL and has served this community for more then125 years. God has truly blessed our congregation over the years and so much more is still in store for this church and our surrounding community as we are a community-oriented church. We are a loving, welcoming, and friendly church that has a mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe that disciples are made through worshipping together; learning through instruction in the Scripture and beliefs of the Christian faith; nurturing one another as friends in Christ; growing together in our commitment to the church and the community; and sending disciples of our church to share God’s love through service.
At Macedonia, we love sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ therefore anyone, regardless of financial status, educational level or ethnic background is welcome here. We believe in the Bible as the only true living Word of God and that Jesus is the Son of God who came to earth as a human to die for the remission of our sins. We believe that God is a “one-in-three-person” God, the Father (Gen 1:1; Matt. 6:9); God, the Son (John 8:36); and God, The Holy Spirit (Gen 1:2; John 14:26). Through the power of Christ’s resurrection, we become the children of God.
While no church is perfect, Macedonia is a place where you can be connected with a perfect God through God’s Son Jesus Christ, God’s Word and God’s people. It is because of God’s grace and mercy alone that Macedonia continues to thrive as a beacon of love, service, and hope and a solid foundation in Jesus Christ and an emphasis on Kingdom building work.
